L1 SOC Analyst
I am an L1 SOC Analyst with 0 years of experience in the cybersecurity domain. I successfully developed over 20 Splunk SPL detection queries that enhanced our ability to identify suspicious activities, significantly improving our incident response capabilities. I'm building toward a Cybersecurity Engineer role, where I can further leverage my skills in threat detection and incident response to protect organizations from evolving cyber threats.
Built a 3-machine enterprise SOC lab consisting of a Windows Server Domain Controller, Windows 10 endpoint, and Kali Linux attacker machine using VirtualBox. Configured Sysmon and Windows Security Logging to generate endpoint telemetry and forwarded logs to Splunk Enterprise for centralized SIEM monitoring. Simulated enterprise attack scenarios including brute-force authentication attacks, PowerShell execution, credential dumping, scheduled task persistence, and lateral movement using Kali Linux and Atomic Red Team.
Designed and implemented an AI-powered attendance system using deep learning, reducing manual attendance effort and proxy attendance. Developed a DenseNet-121 based facial recognition model achieving 97.4. Integrated a real-time OpenCV pipeline with MySQL for automated attendance logging and reporting.
