Cloud Computing Virtual Intern
I am a Cloud Computing Virtual Intern at PBEL (IBM CEP), where I gained hands-on experience in containerization and cloud deployment workflows. During this role, I improved environment setup efficiency by approximately 80% through Docker-based containerization, helping streamline development and deployment processes. Alongside this, I have built practical projects including a Dockerized MERN stack Notepad Application and a RESTful Authentication API, demonstrating my ability to design and implement scalable backend systems with secure authentication and modular architecture. I am currently strengthening my expertise in cloud computing, backend engineering, and system design, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and production-ready applications. My long-term goal is to grow into a Cloud / Backend / Software Engineer role with strong system design and deployment capabilities.
Developed a full-stack MERN application enabling real-time CRUD operations with MongoDB persistence. Containerized frontend and backend using Docker and Docker Compose, reducing environment setup time by 80%. Built production-like architecture with environment-based configuration and service networking.
View Source CodeDesigned a secure REST API with JWT authentication, refresh token rotation, and role-based access control (RBAC). Implemented bcrypt password hashing; deployed containerized API via Docker on Render with Postman test coverage.
